On Monday 12th July 2010 the Waterford & Suir Valley Railway opened the extension to the scenic trip on the narrow gauge railway. In addition to the journey through the beautiful Suir Valley the train continues beside the new N25 and under the motorway through a 40 metre tunnel and on to the toll plaza for the River Suir Bridge.
