Things To Do In The Carrick-On-Suir Area
The earliest known records of a settlement at Carrick-On-Suir are dated to 1247. There is a recently refurbished riverside walk to Clonmel along a former canal tow-path.
Ormonde Castle
Standing above the river Suir on the east side of Carrick, Ormonde Castle is the best example of an Elizabethan Manor House in Ireland.
