Things To Do In The Clonmel Area
The town has an honoured place in Irish history as having braved and withstood the Cromwellian forces which sacked both Drogheda and Wexford. Clonmel grew significantly in medieval times, and many remainders of this period can be found in the town.
Museum of Transport
Occupying two floors of a restored 19th Century mill the Museum of Transport has displays of vehicles, period petrol pumps, signs and memorabilia. The coffee shop also has a distinct transport theme in its presentation.
