For a fun family day out this Easter visit Waterford Suir Valley Railway to meet the Easter Bunny.
Upon arrival, check in to the ticket office to collect your route map and a special Easter Treasure Hunt for the little one to enjoy. Do it before or after your train ride. The friendly drivers will show you to your compartment on the train.
The Easter Bunny will be on the platform to wave you off on an exciting journey. It will bring you through the countryside, beside the River Suir and Waterford Greenway. Get a glimpse in to Mount Congreve Gardens and don’t forget to make a wish in the Magic Wood!
After your journey, return to the station to meet the Easter Bunny up close—perfect for a hug and a memorable photo. Hand in your completed Treasure Hunt to pick a fantastic prize from a selection of vibrant, sensory toys, loved by children.
Capture the moment with family photos at the Easter-themed props. Explore the fascinating Story of Rail through the station’s storyboards, and treat yourself to delicious refreshments at the Whistlestop Café.
