The Bus Eireann Route 354 departs Waterford City Bus Station for Portlaw on a regular basis. Tell the Bus Driver you are visiting Waterford Suir Valley Railway and you can get off at the entrance to Kilmeadan Station Car Park.

If you would also like to visit Mount Congreve Gardens (with prior agreement) you can disembark at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform and return on a later train.

Disembark at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform : 11.30am and 1.30pm
Train Pick up at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform : 1.30pm and 3.30pm
