Every Wednesday and Sunday Honey Bear and Barry Bear are waiting for you at Kilmeadan Station before your train journey. Shake their hands, get a hug and have your photo taken with the friendly bears.
Discover the magic of rail with a 40-minute train trip through the countryside beside Waterford Greenway and the River Suir. Get a glimpse into Mount Congreve Gardens and make a wish in the Magic wood. Children will be given a treasure hunt sheet to do before and during the journey. They can also visit our friendly face painter to get a little memento of the day on their face or hand.
To make it a day out enjoy refreshments, selection of sandwiches, Annette’s Bakehouse treats, or a creamy ’99 in the Whistlestop Café.
