This summer, as part of the family-friendly Great Aviva Road Trip, Waterford Suir Valley Railway hosted the Ridette family for a fun-filled day out. The Ridette family were the lucky winner of the The Great Aviva Road Trip 2024

It was a pleasure to meet Michelle, Steve, Emma and Alex and welcome them aboard Waterford Suir Valley Railway during their Great Aviva Road Trip. We loved being part of their fantastic road trip around the Emerald Isle.

They enjoyed a relaxing and scenic ride through our beautiful countryside, learning about the rich history of the area. Our friendly staff made sure their journey was a memorable one, and we’re delighted they had such a great time aboard our heritage railway. 

Aviva were delighted to partner with Citroën to provide the lucky winners of The Great Aviva Road Trip 2024 with a brand-new Citroën C5 Aircross ë-Series Plug-In Hybrid for the duration of their 10 day trip to explore our beautiful island of Ireland. The prize also consisted of activities including surfing, visiting fun fairs, heritage parks, adventure centres and more with car insurance provided by Aviva.
