Bus Service from Waterford City to Kilmeadan Station
We are delighted that visitors to Waterford City who use public transport can now access Waterford Suir Valley Railway and Mount Congreve Gardens by bus.
The Bus Éireann, Route 354, to Portlaw departs from the Clock Tower for Portlaw, Co Waterford. Request the driver to stop at Kilmeadan Station on-route.
Bus Departure Times from Waterford City : 10am, 11.40am, 2pm
Train Times at Kilmeadan Station: 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Return Bus from Opposite WSVR, Kilmeadan Station to Waterford City : 11.50am, 1.50pm, 3.50pm and 5.20pm
If you would also like to visit Mount Congreve Gardens (with prior agreement) you can disembark at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform and return on a later train. (This offer is available for visitors travelling by Bus/WSVR train only)
Train departure from Kilmeadan Station : 11am or 1pm
Disembark at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform : 11.30am or 1.30pm
Train Pick up at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform : 1.30pm or 3.30pm sharp
Return Bus from Opposite WSVR, Kilmeadan Station to Waterford City : 1.50pm, and 3.50pm
