Directions
From Waterford City take the R680 to Kilmeaden ( 10km). Drive through the village following signs for Cork. At Carrick Road Roundabout take second exit on to the R680, Carrick on Suir Road. Kilmeadan Station is on the left.
Alternatively take N25 toward Cork. At Carrick Road Roundabout take last exit (3rd Exit) on to R680. Kilmeadan Station is on the left.

Getting There by Bus
The Bus Eireann Route 354 departs Waterford City Bus Station for Portlaw on a regular basis. Tell the Bus Driver you are visiting Waterford Suir Valley Railway and you can get off at the entrance to Kilmeadan Station Car Park.

Waterford Suir Valley Railway Train Times that will suit the bus schedule : 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Return Bus from Opposite WSVR train station,
Kilmeadan to Waterford City : 11.50am, 1.50pm, 3.50pm and 5.20pm
Visiting Mount Congreve Gardens
If you would also like to visit Mount Congreve Gardens (with prior agreement) you can disembark the train at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform and return on a later train.
WSVR Train departure time from Kilmeadan Station: 11am and 1pm
Disembark at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform: 11.30am and 1.30pm
Train Pick up at Mount Congreve Gardens Platform: 1.30pm and 3.30pm
Return Bus from Opposite WSVR train station, Kilmeadan to Waterford : 1.50pm, and 3.50pm
