The Easter Bunny will be at Kilmeadan Station to greet you on arrival and wave you off on the train. He loves to have his photo taken with you. Trains depart the station on the hour.

Enjoy a trip on narrow gauge railway, boarding at Kilmeadan Station, through the countryside and along the banks of the River Suir to Carriganore.

July – August
As Summer arrives the Waterford Suir Valley Railway invites you to celebrate any occasion on board the Sunset Express in July and August 2024.

Dates vary
The trip is fun and educational as you learn about the history of the area, passing sights such as the ruins of Kilmeaden Castle, well preserved lime kilns and the site of a very important Viking settlement in Woodstown.
